Corporate Portrait Photographer

Rob Wilson is an on-location corporate portrait photographer based in New Jersey. He serves NJ, NYC, and Bucks County. Modern or classic, he will capture your business headshots for you that will scream professionalism and confidence. Corporate photography can be a business headshot or a corporate portrait, which is often more elaborate than a corporate headshot. Let’s explain.

Corporate Portraits

Corporate portraits, as stated above, are often more elaborate than a headshot. Often, these types of photographs are taken with the office as a backdrop. Furthermore, instead of a head and shoulder image, corporate pictures are more likely a three-quarter composition or full length.  As a corporate portrait photographer, Rob will capture that unique image.

  • Props such as executive chairs are often used, executives leaning against a wall or holding their glasses are some of the ways corporate portraits are captured.
  • Often corporate portraits are taken outside with the company’s building as the backdrop to give people an idea of how big the business is.

Below are some examples of our corporate photography.

Business Headshots

Business headshots are typically cropped right up the bust line and a little over the head. These portraits are mostly taken with a backdrop. However, a lot goes into a powerful corporate headshot.

  • Lighting can make an executive look weak or powerful. For a powerful look, just enough highlights on one side of the face and shadow on the other side will create a dominant image.
  • Posing is also an essential ingredient for a strong business headshot. Leaning an executive forward a bit will elude confidence in an individual. Furthermore, leaning them back and to the side will give off a friendly feel. It often depends on what you do for a living to determine the look you may want to go for.

Both corporate headshots and business headshots are an important part of your personal branding.

Below are some examples of our business headshots.

Both Corporate Portraits and Corporate Headshots

There are times where executives need both a variety of corporate portraits and business headshots. As a corporate headshot photographer, Rob will help you with this. The reason for this is because they will use their images for different reasons.

  • Since the profile pictures are small to most, their image on LinkedIn is often a head and shoulders corporate headshot. Even though it’s small, great lighting, lean, and expression will make it impactful.
  • A corporate portrait is often used on company newsletters or annual reports. Printed or digital, these forms of marketing material, by nature, are more elaborate, and as a result, a more detailed portrait is chosen.
  • Email signature business headshots continue to get more popular. Using your headshot in your signature will help you gain trust, and people will feel like they know you better. The same can be said for business cards.

As you can see, there is a lot that goes into our corporate photography. Rob’s promise to you is that he will make sure he captures just the right look for you for your business headshots or corporate portraits.
