Dallas, TX Corporate Headshot Photographer and Videographer
As I’m typing this, I am on a plane headed to Texas to shoot business portraits and corporate video for a Dallas drug treatment center. From 1/23 to 1/29/22 I’ll be a Dallas, TX Corporate Headshot Photographer and Videographer.
Also, I have redesigned their website that will be launched while I’m there, and will we will be going over their digital marketing strategies, including SEO (search engine optimization).
For five years, I’ve been helping companies redesign their websites and working on their digital marketing efforts through my other company Five Star SEO. With this company, I help clients, many of whom started as my photography clients, rank high on the search engine results as my websites do for my photography business.
Today, I’m happy to say that my photography business is as busy now as it has ever been since I started my business in March of 2006. It is interesting that over the last year, I’ve been lasered focused on my digital marketing business, Five Star SEO.
I will always be a corporate headshot photographer and videographer
, and I’m not looking to scale down my photography business, in fact I will continue to grow the photography business. Admittedly, I don’t have any hobbies besides drone photography, working out, and relaxing on the beach, and I watch almost zero television. This gives me the time to focus on my obsession with marketing, expanding more than with my photography business.
The Marketing Side of My Photography Business
Anybody that knows me understands that I have always enjoyed the marketing side to running my business as much as the photography. That’s saying a lot, since photography has been my passion since I’ve been fifteen years old. There’s always been something about marketing that had intrigued me even back when marketing was traditional, primarily direct marketing, mainly mailing postcards.
The ability reaching the right people, with the right message, at the right time has always been a fascinating challenge. With my photography business, since 2006, when I started blogging, I am intrigued how I can reach people looking for services simply by writing. Writing always has been something that I’ve enjoyed even though I am mediocre at it at best.
Unbeknownst to Me Both Business Tie in Together
Unbeknownst to me, both businesses go hand in hand at the beginning stages. Websites need photography such as corporate headshots and video to take a site to the next level.
Digital marketing campaigns can heavily benefit from photography, especially video.
In this savvy digital era, potential clients want to be spoken to directly. The days of throwing a bunch of stuff against the wall and hoping some of it sticks is long over. Video is a perfect way to have various messages to specific people . As a result, through digital marketing, you target those people with a particular message. As if, you are talking directly to them. Even with reaching the right person, you have to get them at the right time with the right message. One of the easiest ways is to run your message constantly to these potential clients.
